It’s important to keep a consistent brushing routine daily
We recommend brushing your teeth twice daily, but flossing is an equally important oral hygiene step when it comes to preventing gum disease. The areas between the teeth are trouble spots for gum disease, which is why it is so important to clean those hard-to-reach spots.
Flossing is as important as brushing your teeth!
Flossing is the most effective way to keep those areas clean and free from bacteria.
It is important to follow the right technique when you floss in order to scrape the tooth clean from just below the gumline all the way up the side of your tooth. Simply slip the floss between your teeth and gently press it up underneath the gum. Now wrap the floss around the tooth and scrape the floss away from your gum to clean the tooth. Cover as much tooth as possible with floss by wrapping the floss around the tooth.
By flossing daily, you will not only have a perfect checkup, but you will also prevent gum disease and the risk of losing your teeth.
